Floor Supervisor

The Floor Supervisor is the heartbeat of the sales floor. You keep things moving, support your team, and make sure every customer leaves happy. You're the bridge between management and staff — someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure, and takes real ownership of the day-to-day.


Responsibilities Include

  • Own the sales floor — create daily tasks, delegate with intention, and follow through to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
  • Be the go-to connection between management and the sales team, keeping communication clear and timely in both directions
  • Step into a leadership role when upper management isn't present, keeping the team focused and the floor running smoothly
  • Check out customers, thoughtfully ringing and wrapping their items, and accurately completing each transaction; troubleshoot any issues and provide guidance to the sales team
  • Support strong sales performance by guiding the team on customer engagement, product recommendations, and floor awareness throughout the day
  • Maintain the sales floor and regularly restock product as needed
  • Receive and process shipments and store-to-store transfers
  • Lead the team on all opening and closing procedures, delegating tasks as needed
  • Assist the Visual Lead with getting new items on the floor
  • Maintain the flow of daily operations, ensuring every task is completed in a timely manner
  • Spot issues before they become problems — whether it's a customer concern or a team dynamic — and bring them to management with context
  • Know store policies inside and out and help new and existing Sales Associates do the same
  • Support the training of new team members and help them feel set up to succeed
  • Help maintain positive momentum and team morale, even during busy or high-pressure shifts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and help resolve customer concerns in real time
  • Assist with social media content creation during shifts on an as-needed basis
  • Help maintain a welcoming, creative, and customer-focused store environment throughout each shift

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Passionate about retail and genuinely invested in the team and the customer experience
  • Flexible and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as the business needs
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
  • Able to move through the sales floor and stockroom with ease and lift up to 30 pounds

Hourly Compensation

$25–27/hour
