Is this store secure?
Kanibal & Co. handles all its financial transactions through Paypal or Shopify and their secure servers. We never see your financial information, only the confirmation that you paid along with your email and shipping address. If you do not want to pay through the website, you can also call the shop during business hours to process an order over the phone. Please do not send sensitive or credit card information via email or social media.
How is my payment handled?
Payment is securely handled online by Paypal and Shopify. You do not need an account to use Paypal -- payment can be made securely with a credit card. However, we are also able to process your order over the phone. If you call in an order (or visit our location in Jersey City, NJ) please note that we accept the following forms of payment: Apple Pay, Visa, American Express and MasterCard as well as cash.
Payment is due before your order can be processed.
*Please note: Kanibal & Co. collects sales tax only for purchases shipped within New Jersey locations. The New Jersey sales tax rate is 6.625%. You are responsible for all sales taxes and other taxes on items shipped to other states.
Many of your items on social media aren't listed online... why doesn't the store post everything on the website?
Since we pride ourselves on presenting unique pieces that make a statement, much of our merchandise is available on a limited basis. Only the shop's private labels are listed online because we tend to have a larger amount of stock in these exclusive pieces. Once an item is sold out, we make every attempt to remove that item from our website. If there is something that you have seen on social media that you love please don’t hesitate to contact us – we're always happy to accept a phone order and ship your item to you.
What is your return policy?
Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery. Prior to making a return, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of your problem. YOU MUST NOTIFY KANIBAL & CO. BEFORE ATTEMPTING A RETURN. UNSOLICITED RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Upon contacting Kanibal & Co. you will be given a returns-only address. Kanibal & Co. is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns. Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment. Please allow approximately two to three weeks for the processing of your return. Kanibal & Co. is not responsible for returns that are not received.
What is your shipping policy?
Kanibal & Co. usually ships items within two business days of ordering. Please allow additional time for handmade items such as jewelry. We cannot ship to a P.O. Box. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise shipped transfers to you upon our delivery of the merchandise to the shipping carrier. Currently we can only deliver within the continental United States.

Are all of the items on the website also available in-store?
Yes! If you need an item in a rush please don't hesitate to call the shop to make sure it's currently available. If you live in Jersey City or Hoboken we can sometimes arrange same-day delivery (but only if you place an order over the phone!).
Do you sell gift certificates?
You betcha! Gift certificates that are valid for online purchases only can be purchased here and gift certificates that are valid for in-store purchases can be purchased here.
