Our First Ever Movie Night!
K+Co. Book Club First Ever Movie Night!
This past Friday K+Co. Book club members put our books down for the night and got together to watch one of the most anticipated movies of the year! Netflix adapted the beloved book People We Meet on Vacation by best-selling author, Emily Henry.
We gathered after the store closed for the day, blankets and cushions scattered around the room to create a relaxed, living-room-theater vibe. Of course, we had your classic movie theater snacks and candy to munch on while we enjoyed the film.
The best part of the night was getting to compare and contrast the book vs. the movie. Spoiler alert! There were A LOT of differences. (BOOK ALEX WOULD NEVER!!! HAVE PROPOSED TO SARAH AFTER POPPY'S PREGNANCY SCARE! Just sayin') True to every book lovers' word, the book is ALWAYS better! Despite all of our strong opinions we overall really enjoyed the movie adaptation. RomComs are SO back.
All this to say we will definitely be hosting more movie nights in the future! What should we watch next?
