Live Figure Drawing at Kanibal + Co. in Summit
Last week, our Summit shop transformed into a creative studio as artists and curious beginners gathered with NJ Life Drawing for an afternoon of live figure drawing.
With sketchbooks open and pencils in hand, attendees spent the session observing, drawing, and connecting through the simple practice of slowing down and creating together. Whether participants came with years of experience or were picking up a pencil for the first time, the atmosphere was welcoming, inspiring, and full of creative energy.
One of our favorite parts of the afternoon was seeing the variety of artistic styles emerge from the same pose. It served as a beautiful reminder that creativity isn't about perfection - it's about observation, expression, and enjoying the process.
